After deciding to extend our current conservatory and have a Guardian Warm roof, we began looking for quotes. These varied extensively in price and the whole process was becoming troublesome. Then along came P & K Home Improvements. My first email was responded to promptly and the next thing Karl was out to take a look and see about a quote. He was very informative and answered the many questions I had. From that first meeting I was put at ease and the whole experience just got better from that moment on. No more worrying for me as I handed it all over Peter and Karl to sort. I fact the quote was so reasonable I had money left in my budget for the replacement of my front door and 3 other house windows too. A date was arranged to start and the builders P & K used for the footings and brickwork (Mark Pitcher Builders) were in on time and swiftly got on with the extra footings and brick work required. In fact I was amazed at how quickly it all took shape. Everyone working together and the whole thing co-ordinated with no fuss and Peter kept me updated at every stage, even liaising with the electrical company that were fitting my air con unit and making the whole process so easy and effortless for me. All the workers involved were very polite and always tidied up after themselves every day. It was a real pleasure to see the level of care offered and if I had any questions, they were quickly answered, no fuss and no faff. Loved it. The whole thing took 2 and a half weeks - that's removing the old conservatory, doubling the size of the original footprint (extra footings and a brick wall, fitting new glass units, a guardian roof and all the plastering, and re-doing and making good the patio area. I would highly recommend P & K and they have also put me in touch with someone to do the flooring too. Peter and Karl are genuinely lovely and I felt they actually really cared about me and my home and that I wasn't just another customer, they looked after us so well.
